"vitarasi dikshu raNe dikpatikamanIyaM
das'amukhamaulibaliM ramaNIyaM
kes'ava dhRtarAmas'arIra jaya jagadIs'a hare

"On the battle-field, you presented the ten heads of Ravana as
propitiation to the lords of the ten corners.
O Kes'ava, O Hari, the Lord of the universe,
salutations to you in the avatAra of Rama!

"vahasi vapuSi vis'ade vasanaM jaladAbham
halahatibhItimilitayamunAbham
kes'ava dhRtahaladhararUpa jaya jagadIs'a hare

"On your beautiful white body, you wore black garments that
resembled the dark river Yamuna, who was afraid of being hit by
your weapon, the plough.
O Kes'ava, O Hari, the Lord of the universe,
salutations to you in the avatAra of Balarama with the plough!

"nindasi yajnavidheh: ahaha srutijAtaM
sadayahRdayadars'itapas'ughAtam
kes'ava dhRtabuddhas'arIra jaya jagadIs'a hare

"As Buddha, you preached non-violence and denied the Vedas to those
who, on the pretext of sacrifice, were hurting the animals.
O Kes'ava, O Hari, the Lord of the universe,
salutations to you in the avatAra of Buddha!

"mlecchanivahanidhane kalayasi karavAlaM
dhUmaketumiva kimapi karAlam
kes'ava dhRtakalkis'arIra jaya jagadIs'a hare

"At the end of Kaliyuga, sporting a sword like a comet, you will
appear as Kalki to destroy the perpetrators of evil.
O Kes'ava, O Hari, the Lord of the universe,
salutations to you in the avatAra of Kalki!

"s'rIjayadevakaveh: idam uditam udAraM
s'ruNu s'ubhadaM sukhadaM bhavasAram
kes'ava dhRtadas'avidharUpa jaya jagadIs'a hare

"Listen to these auspicious sayings uttered by Jayadeva to give joy
and to promote the value of (after-)life.
O Kes'ava, O Hari, the Lord of the universe,
salutations to you with ten avatArAs."
