Today's Beautiful Gem: An Irish Blessing by an anonymous author.

Many of the readers may have wondered why this column has been
intermittent in its appearance. Both during my Indian trip and after
my return, bugs became terrribly fond of me and invaded my inner recesses.
Consequently, there was a break-down in my health. By the grace of the
Invisible Hand and also by the constant help and encouragement of my family
members as well as my friends, I am almost back to normal. I needed all
the blessings mentioned hereunder and perhaps was lucky in receiving them.

"May there always be work for your hands to do
May your purse always hold a coin or two
May the sun always shine upon your window pane
May a rainbow be ceratin to follow each rain
May the hand of a friend always be near to you and
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
