Today's Beautiful Gem: "A Woman's Prayer" by Robin Morgan.

Gone are those days when men alone earn and women take care of the
family at home. All over the world, be it in India or be it in the
western world, both men and women work even though, unfortunately,
they are not rewarded with the same pay. All women, besides their
work in the office or in the factory or in the school, spend
considerable time in taking care of the family. Not that they are
more energetic than men. They deserve the gratitude of all, certainly
the male members of their families. Here is a yearning in the woman's
heart as spelt out by Robin Morgan. May our mothers and sisters and
wives be showered with the blessings hereunder and a lot more!

"Blessed be my brain that I may conceive of my own power.
Blessed be my breast that I may give sustenance to those I love.
Blessed be my womb that I may create what I choose to create.
Blessed be my knees that I may bend so as not to break.
Blessed be my feet that I may walk in the path of my highest will."
