For those who are interested in Shaayri and Ghazals, here is a
ghazal you may like :

Jhoom kay jab rindo nay pila di,
Sheikh nay, chupkay chupkay dua di !

(When bartender offered drinks ,
Even priest prayed within his heart !)

Ek kami thi TajMahal mein,
Hamnay teri tasveer laga di !
Jhoom kay jab rindo...............

(There was only one thing missing in TajMahal,
We placed your picture out there !)

Aapnay jootha vada karkay ,
Aaj hamaari umar bada di !
Jhoom kay jab rindo...............

(By not living upto your promise,
You extended our life today !)

Teri gali mein sajday karkay,
Hamnay ibadat-gah bana di !
Jhoom kay jab rindo...............

(By praying in your street,
We made a place-of-worship out there !)

I am sorry, if people who don't understand Urdu, didn't like the ghazal
because of translation. People who know Urdu will appreciate the fact that
it is very difficult to translate the Urdu ghazal into English and still
keep it interesting. Ghazals can only be appreciated in its originality in
Urdu. So please bear with my translation.
