Nagmon ki baarishon mein kahin beegnay chalay,
Mausam ki aarzoo ko na thukrayey janaab !

[Let us go and get wet in the rains of these sweet songs,
Madam, please don't ignore these requests from pleasant weather !]

Rishton ko bhool jana to aasaan hai magar,
Pehlay khud apnay aapko samjhayey janaab !

[It is easy to forget relationships but,
Madam, please first make yourself understand the relationship !]

Aisa na ho thamay huey aansoo chalak padey,
Rukhsat kay waqt mujko na samjhayey jaanab !

[Don't let my still tears roll down my cheeks,
Madam, please don't try to teach me at the time of departure !]

Main saaz hoon yeh yaad rahey isliyey kabhi,
Meray hi sher mujko suna jayey janaab !
