Saamna aaj unsay hona hai !

[One or the other thing has to happen,

Todo fainko rakho karo kuch bhi,
Dil hamara hai kya khilona hai !

[Break it, throw it, keep it, do whatever you wish,
It is my heart and what a toy it is !]

Zindagi aur maut ka matlab,
Tumko paana hai tumko khona hai !

[The meaning of Life and Death is,
To have you and to lose you !]

Itna darna bhi kya hai duniya say,
Jo bhi hona hai woh to hona hai !

[Why to be so afraid of the world,
Whatever has to happen will happen !]

Uth kay mehfil say mat chalay jaana,
Tumsay roshan yeh kona kona hai !

[Don't get up and leave the gathering,
Every corner of this gathering is lit because of you !]
