Hamaray beech hain rasom-rivaj ki deewaar,
Tum usko tod kay aagay nikal sako to chalo !

[There is wall of culture-&-traditions between you and me,
If you can break that and go ahead, then walk with me !]

Yeh rah-e-ishq nahin aag ka samundar hai,
Lapakti mauj mein ghar tum sambhal sako to chalo !

[This is not a road-of-love, it is ocean of fire,
If you can handle yourself in rising waves, then walk with me !]

Tumhari kashti-e-ulfat hai gham kay toofan mein,
Meri tarah rukh-e-toofan badal sako to chalo !

[Your boat-of-love is in the midst of storm-of-sorrows,
Like me if you can change the direction of storm, then walk with me !]
