Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - June 2011
One of my bucket-list items was crossed out in the summer of 2011, when I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We were four women led by an Andes Adventures guide. A very well maintained trail to hike, we saw the Andes mountains, several of the Inca ruins and the famous 'Inca Elevators' ! Machu Picchu is just one of those many Inca ruins. We also enjoyed the Inti Raymi festivities in Cuzco on our return from Machu Picchu. Below are the pictures from this adventure...
